my phone wakes me up. and I listen to my ipod while I'm getting ready. a life before all this technology.. I can't even begin to imagine. [how appropriate for my laptop to freeze as i wrote this line] I find it funny people call blackberrys.. crackberrys because apparently they're that addicting to always be on.. I am not that "addicted" and i can live without my phone for a day. [depending where i am and who I'm with of course!] i went on a cruise this summer [with my boyfriend, best friend, and some family- so the only people i had to talk to daily.. were with me] and it was sort of.. freeing to not have to check my texts and bbms and email every minute or hour. i left my phone in the safe and only put it on maybe twice in the whole week. the second thing that comes to mind.. is my darling little sister. she's 15 and gets her phone and laptop taken away EVERY time a report card comes in the mail. what my dad forgets to take away [sometimes] is her ipod ! lucky for her someone smart made an application called Text Now ! .. how convenient that even when she lost her "privileges" to talk to her friends .. she can still text unlimited times. unfortunately, for the past few years, she still hasn't learned to just pay attention in school. but again, lucky for her.. my dad always gives her things back in a couple of days.
